We are pleased to announce that Somater has been awarded the EcoVadis Platinum Medal, the highest distinction granted by EcoVadis! With a score of 90/100, our Group now ranks among the Top 1% of companies assessed worldwide for their environmental, social, and ethical performance. This distinction recognizes several years of commitment and transformation across our industrial operations. For the first time, the assessment covers all 13 manufacturing sites and 930 employees across three countries, united by a common CSR policy and shared ambitions. As part of this harmonization process, Plastuni Operations and ANL Packaging are now integrated into Somater Conditionnements' EcoVadis account. We therefore kindly ask you to direct your EcoVadis-related requests through this account, which now covers the entire Group's scope. Every day, this commitment is reflected through concrete actions: developing recyclable and refillable packaging solutions, reducing material consumption, increasing the use of recycled materials, decarbonizing our operations, and strengthening our social practices, business ethics, and responsible sourcing policies. ANL Packaging is proud to announce the launch of its packaging dedicated to NVIVE medicine, developed and produced at the Wellen site since 2025. The design of this innovative product is based on a thermoformed solution combining a PP tray and a PET lid. One of the main technical challenges was to achieve sufficient cavity depth in a particularly compact format, while ensuring the quality, consistency and reliability of the packaging. This development once again demonstrates the expertise of the ANL Packaging teams in technical thermoforming, packaging innovation and customer support for high value-added projects. Mindful of our impact on the environment, ANL Packaging is actively engaged in the development of responsible industrial resources. In this #Worldwaterday, we would like to highlight the commitment of our sites to the preservation of this resource. This is because the polymer transformation process has the advantage of using only a limited amount of water. This water is mainly used to cool our tools and is retained in a closed loop that is reused continuously. In addition, ANL Packaging is participating in Operation Clean Sweep®, a programme designed to limit the loss of granules and flakes into the environment by means of containment measures and targeted, regular cleaning of high-risk areas.
