ANL Plastics was founded in 1938 by Alfons Neven-Lemmens. He started off with a crate manufacturing business that made wooden boxes for the local fruit farmers and brewers.
It was around 1958 when Armand Neven first learned about alternative uses in plastic. He kept a close eye on every development in this field, driven by the innovative possibilities. Once convinced of the potential of plastic, he switched to thermoforming plastic packaging. From that moment on, the local mushroom farmers were able to present their produce to their customers straight from the packaging.
ANL realised a major breakthrough by manufacturing separate partitions for biscuits and chocolates. These replaced the labour-intensive partitions made from paper and cardboard. To this day, trends in the market continue to be monitored very closely. We then translate these impulses from the market to turnkey packaging solutions.
This method of moving forward is still the foundation of our developments, both under our own name and the many customised solutions we manufacture for our customers. Sturdy, reliable and high-quality packaging that stands out from the crowd in design and user-friendliness and truly places your brand and product in the spotlight.
